I am drawn to the synchronicity between people and their surrounding, the unseen energy of a place. The way a body moves through a crowd, or stands still inside a vast landscape, and suddenly the whole frame makes sense.

My work is documentary at heart. I'm not looking for perfection or the posed moment, but for the real one. The feeling that lives in a location before thinking of putting it into words. Whether I'm on a festival site at 2am, wandering city streets, or somewhere remote, my instinct is always the same: absorb the energy of the surroundings, and wait for the glitch of beauty to press the shutter.

I believe the best pictures don't only show you what happened, but what it felt like to be there.
